About nadinepnk

Hi, I’m Nadine! I’m a mixed media artist and mental health advocate from Portsmouth, UK.

My Story

I’ve suffered on-and-off with mental illnesses for all of my adult life.

After a particularly dark period, I decided to go sober in 2023 and searched for some hobbies to make my life feel whole without my usual vices.

My creative inner child begged to pick up our art supplies again, and I soon discovered the healing effects of creating art with my own two hands.

What followed was an all-consuming love for air dry clay artistry as well as illustration, painting and digital drawing.

After years of feeling hopeless and without a passion, I had not only reignited my passion for art, but life, too. I realised my calling was to not only share my art with the world, but the whole process and reasoning behind it too.

If I can help just one other person out there feel the improvements that I have, just through creating, then all my 27 years on earth have been fully worthwhile.

How pottery changed my life for the better

I was kindly invited to talk with Frankie, founder of Pott’d about my story. Have a listen here and let me know what you think!
